The island that the boys unwillingly crashed upon seemed at first, to be a paradise, but as both the nature of the island and the nature of man got aquatinted, the idea of it being a paradise started to change. In the book Lord of the Flies by William Golding, evil is found frequently in a many different forms, such as the savage ways .... Middle of paper .... do while stuck on the island was think about killing, talk about killing, and actually killing. That was his first evil trait.
The second evil trait found in the savagery of Jack Merridew is unnecessary stealing. The two characters that he really stole from are Ralph and Piggy. From Ralph, Jack stole the boy followers, respect, and friends. He stole followers from Ralph by luring them into his tribe with the promise of meat and protection ....
