Through out the story "A Good Man is Hard to Find" By Flannery O'Connor there are several examples of both foreshadowing of death and symbolism of heaven. These messages do not become apparent until the end of the story. The saga begins with a family of six that is discussing their upcoming vacation and a grandmother that is unsettled .... Middle of paper .... on vacation, but when the stime arrives to depart, she is the first passenger seated in the car. Another example is the entire time she is trying to change Bailey's mind, she used a prison escape as the primary reason not to proceed to Florida, and ironically, they confront the fugitives in a strange twits of fate. In another instance, the grandmother insists on taking her cat on vacation with her and her justification for having to take the ....
