Imagine, a mountain that has taken the lives of two people and has hardly ever been climbed. This was the mountain that was climbed in the summer of 1998 by my father, my best friend and me. It is called, Sawtooth Ridge, creeping to an elevation just under 10,000 feet, eighty-nine switch-backs, and a distance just under two miles. Yo .... Middle of paper

It looked like a little green dot painted into the valley floor by an artist and his brush. I did not realize how hard it would be until the middle of the mountain.
