Have you ever been blamed for something you didn’t do? Did it turn out to be alright for you? Oedipus, the main character in this play had to go through a blaming game in the play. Oedipus was blamed for King Liaos death. He denies doing it throughout the play. The play is called “Oedipus Rex.” It was written by Sophocles, and is a Greek .... Middle of paper .... a day long so he faces all of these challenges in just one day. It seems like every time King Liaos death is brought up, Oedipus always blames it on someone. Oedipus then tells everyone that the person who killed King Liaos will be put to death when found. When he says this, it tells the people that he didn’t kill him. As the play goes on he blames the death on Kreon. After that he blames Teiresias for the death. The play continues like this ....
