Eleanor Holmes Norton

, lawyer, educator, and civil rights activist was born in Washington, DC on June 13, 1937. After graduating from Dunbar Senior High School, she received a BA from Antioch College. Norton then went on to attend Yale’s Graduate School and School of Law to receive a MA and a LLB simultaneously in 1964.
