I have chosen to review a biography about Husband E. Kimmel, USN, Ret. VA. In 1941, Adm. Kimmel was the fleet admiral to the Pacific forces at Pearl Harbour. Admiral Kimmel was accused of treason by the American government after the Pearl Harbour attack on December 7, 1941. The book The Accused, follows the events of his courts-martial .... .... then later to Commodore. He maintained his position as an aide to the Fleet command until his superiors retired or were sent into the Atlantic at the onset of World War II.
