The Boston Massacre
Number of pages: 7 | Number of words: 1865.... taking away
jobs from the Boston laborers. Many times when the soldiers left their
barracks and were walking about the town, carried large clubs, for the
purpose of assaulting the people.
Many would say that the colonists had every right to be mad and
irritated. But what about the soldiers. They were just taking commands
from the country that they are defending and fighting for. To them they
were just doing the right thing. But we all know that they went to extremes
by the frequent wounding of persons by their bayonets and cutlasses, and
the numerous instances of bad b .....

The Manhattan Project
Number of pages: 6 | Number of words: 1621.... to actually fulfill my interest.
The Manhattan Project was the code name for the US effort during World War
II to produce the atomic bomb. It was appropriately named for the
Manhattan Engineer District of the US Army Corps of Engineers, because much
of the early research was done in New York City. Sparked by refugee
physicists in the United States, the program was slowly organized after
nuclear fission was discovered by German scientists in 1938, and many US
scientists expressed the fear that Hitler would attempt to build a fission
bomb. Frustrated with the idea that Germany .....

Frederick Douglass' Speech For Individual Rights
Number of pages: 5 | Number of words: 1218.... that even though all men are created the same way, they aren’t given the same natural rights. Black people do not have the same rights that were granted to them by the founding fathers of the United States, and there is no reason for the blacks to be celebrating the nation’s birthday. Frederick Douglass believed that no black man or woman should be satisfied until their whole race was treated like Americans, and not slaves. Until then the Fourth of July was a holiday which is not “theirs.”
Although Douglass’s speech contains the detestable, horrid facts about slavery and oth .....

Red River
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 991.... by Indians. As it turned out these were the same Indians, who ambushed the wagon train, they had left earlier in the day. Dunson and Rupp had seen the smoke from the attack that killed the girl as they were riding away. It seems to me that Indians in this film are portrayed as dangerous enemies who are very sneaky. Also in this part of the movie Dunson and Rupp somehow knew how to answer Indian calls, even though they were two white guys from Missouri. It also intrigued me that the two of them shot every Indian that came out of the bushes the very first time. Good shoot .....

Chebutykin suffers great pain when a woman dies because they think that he is a doctor. He also suffers when the people around him talk about history and literature and include him while he knows absolutely nothing. .....

Lincoln's Legacy
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 341.... This is what James Madison, "the father of the constitution," meant in
the constitution. We must compromise to solve our disagreements and keep our
country together.
The idea that many men had died for our country and that we should not
forget them was strongly emphasized in he Gettysburg Address. In the Bill of
Rights it is conveyed that no person should be deprived of their basic rights.
These men that died in order that we could all be sovereign, and that nobody
could own anyone else, were deprived of everything when their lives were taken.
It is our responsibility to nev .....

The Reformation led to the formation of a religious group called Protestants. In the decade that followed, many other reforms took place in the Church of England.
The Puritans, who had originally been part of the Church of England, greatly encouraged the reforms of others. They rejected the Catholic traditions and wanted to "purify" the church. The English king listened to their appeals, but many Catholic traditions rem .....
