The shaping of Pip's character begins during his childhood years under the loving care and companionship of his brother-in-law Joe Gargery, and the strict rule of his sister Mr .....

.... even when it may be difficult to face them. Feeling occasional depression or anger may be what we must sacrifice for the happiness in life. Guest's style of writing is also very interesting to read. I enjoyed the way she would use the word "he" when describing a character rather than stating who the character was. I was still able to identify the characters simply through their reactions and feelings. The only possible negative aspect to this novel would be the constant mood of depression. I realize that the topic is not happiness, however, it is easy to get absorbed in the sad .....

Lady Macbeth is asking Macbeth if he is afraid to kill Duncan, and if he has enough courage to say so. She is asking him if he wants to be king or not, and if he is to be king he must kill king Duncan tonight. By reciting her speech, she is questioning Macbeth's manliness, and his ambitions. As a result of this Macbeth ends up killing Duncan that .....

.... Zander is just a little pet for June. With the training by June, and the mistakes that he fall into the river, he grows matured has been well trained. At the same time, June also has been trained by her mother and, watching the things happen to Zander, June becomes mature too. She helped her mother by carrying suitcases and boxes and walked carefully up the stairs to her room, holding her head high as she had been taught in the dance class. Everybody is supposed to have their own freedom. Without freedom, one will not live like a human being but like a toy. But, too .....

.... and the white townsfolk, Tom went through the trial without getting aggravated because he was falsely accused, and conducted himself as a gentleman. Tom's actions depict the kind of man he truly was, not one to rape and beat a helpless teenager, but one to conduct himself as a civilized human being. I strongly feel that this is a remedy that Harper Lee offers on the subject of dealing with everyday injustice. Instead of getting angry when someone puts us down, we should react by laughing along with the person or even just walki ng away. These reactions may douse the person' .....
