Personal Reflections
Number of pages: 10 | Number of words: 2546.... outings to plays and musical recitals. Those times were sometimes fun sometimes tedious. But today, I have come to enjoy these types of cultural events. They have helped to shape who I am today.
How do you grieve someone you hardly knew, but who is supposed to mean so much?? I have postponed the grief some what through alcohol and drug use and avoidance. He did mean something to me because when we came home from school, in seventh grade, that day in January, I was shocked when Mom declared, "you're father is dead." What do you mean?! What happened?! What do you mean he's dead? .....

Personal Writing: Evil
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 678.... my Christmas vacation at about 5:30 am one Saturday morning, my mother rudely awakened me to get out of bed and “clean all that *&^%$ up off the front lawn.” I immediately knew who had done it. I assumed that it was toilet paper for the third week in a row, but I was shocked to see this. He must have stole every newspaper in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, and Livonia and threw it on my lawn. Every inch of grass on my lawn was covered. It had been hours since it was done and much of it had blown down the street and all over the neighbors’ lawns. I cleaned it all up.

Creative Writing: When I Was A Kid
Number of pages: 6 | Number of words: 1640.... (or some other terror) you can shout,
"Don't go in there! Stay away!" People moving into Norwalk have no such luck;
they move into the charming town without a clue of it's underlying sickness and
disagreeable citizens.
One of my first discoveries was the river that passed through the middle of town.
I was only a kid, maybe ten, when I started fishing by the edge of the river.
It wasn't easy finding the perfect location; this was a place where I would
want to be alone, a place to get away from the unhappiness that would spread
like fire through my home on occasion.
This tim .....

The Morning
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 930.... like myself.
I thought the bomb I dropped before I went to sleep would make for an easy morning. I was wrong. At 6:10 I found myself stuck in the library for what seemed like an eternity. It was not my typical morning dump, it was the never ending dump from hell. Every time I thought the nightmare was over, I found my self dropping more and more and more. It was already 7:30 and I had to leave by 8:15 in order to make it to my office by 9:00. This would only give me an hour to rehearse my presentation; but I was prepared. I still had forty-five minutes to get rea .....

The "Around The World" Party At College
Number of pages: 5 | Number of words: 1215.... immediately knew it was in the corner because
of the crowd surrounding it. Once I reached the keg, I found myself
waiting once again for my beer. The person who was filling up the cups was
not filling them first come first serve. He would fill the cups of his
friends first, then the girls, and then if he had to fill up his own cup he
would. While doing this he was talking his friend whose job it was to
pump the keg when needed. People were sticking their cups in front of the
tap as if they were fighting for food, and they hadn't eaten for days.
There must of have been twe .....

Life Long Friendship
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 618.... We find friends in many ways, but we often solidify our friendships in adversity. During illness we see the real caring and concerns of others. Being present during the adverse times often permanently bonds humans together.
Of course, not everyone can maintain friends from our childhood as I have been able to do. People are mobile, they move from city to city or merely change neighborhoods. Yet, regardless of the length of the relationship, we all have a need for friendship and continually strive to make close and true friends in our lives.
If our immediate famil .....
