.... and wants. The Common Man shows self-interest on a small scale. Take for example when More is using the Common Man's boat and the issue of payment comes up. He asks More to 'make it worth his while". This shows us how most would act in the same situation. It shows that all people have a price even if it is on a small scale. The Boatman also goes as far to hint about his 'young wife'. By mentioning her, he hopes that he will be tipped more money. He only wants enough money to get by with. This is relevant to us as we would bend or stretch the truth and his principles in or .....

This subservience created enough trust of the “Man-Mountain” by the Lilliputian king that it was declared that his liberty hath been granted when he could have easily crushed and killed these little people. Gulliver is also very eager to be able to interact with the creatures and this is evident when in a few weeks he “made a great progress in learning their language” (68). The Seeled Train
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 357

.... socialistic government. The people were happy and no longer hungry. Opinion of book- This book was hard to follow. I have studied Lenin in the past and I still couldn’t quite follow the book. It was written in short ineffective sentences. It also failed to go into great detail. In a sense it almost seemed to try to blow up the events of Lenin’s life. I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone. Overall the book was kind of crappy. The book did however, hit on the basic events of Lenin’s life and generally portrayed his life story. Life lesson- .....
