Number of pages: 6 | Number of words: 1570.... the Arabs had on their minds was the destruction of the country. Anwar Sadat was prepared to sacrifice one million soldiers in the destruction of Israel (Bard, http://www.us-israel.org/jsource/History/73_War.html). The Suez War(1956), which followed the Israeli War of Independence, the British, French, and the US agreed not to supply the Israeli or Arabs with any needed weapons. Since they could not get weapons from those countries, Egypt made an arms deal with Czechoslovakia. Now, with their weapons, Egypt was able to invade Israel constantly. Egyptian President Nassar nati .....

Gangs
Number of pages: 6 | Number of words: 1587.... hair were forbidden and non-caucasians.
There are many different gangs. Now there's one I am familiar
with, the Necronomicon, who jumped me and my homeboy (who's Latino) just
because we weren't white.
Another one would belong to the punks. Which I do not have a
problem with. The only two punk gangs I know of, do not call themselves
"Gangs" but they call themselves a crew. They call themselves CFH,
(Cowboys From Hell) and the other one is the Martians.
A lot of the gang members come from broken homes, or something is
wrong. So the kids end up in ga .....

Tourism is oriented to the consumer rather than to the producer, and the economic impact of tourism comes primarily from multiple retail purchases by the tourists in a variety of establishments. The average household spends more on tourism as its real income increase (The National Tourism Resources Review, 1976). The City as a Tourist Resource The City’s appeal is based on eight general categories of attractions: Business opportunities, both work and personal; recreation; cultural/educational facilities; contact with people; amusement and entertainment; specia .....

Trying Juviniles As Adults
Number of pages: 10 | Number of words: 2492.... classmates, and strangers. In many states, a juvenile is any one under the age of eighteen. Young offenders commit these crimes because they feel neglected, that no one cares, and this is a way to get attention. However, professionalˇ¦s say that juvenile offenders commit these crimes due to being abused or even ignored as a child (Valentine). Telling a parent to not ignore, punish, or leave your child home alone or your child could grow to become a criminal, seems severe. Why donˇ¦t we just tell them how to raise their children? We as a society can not place the blame o .....

The Gender Struggle
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 908.... being done to them.
Peggy Orenstein very effectively tackles the question "are boys and girls treated differently in school?" (Italicized paragraphs 7). She concluded from her field studies in junior high schools that the teacher sometimes treats boys and girls differently in the classroom. She also admits that boys and girls do have many differences, which cause them to behave differently. Orenstein observed that in many situations the teacher ignored the girls when they raised their hands while the boys would blurt-out answers without the teacher scolding them for it. The b .....

Katha Pollitt's Argument About Media Being Biased Against Liberals And Allan Levite's Argument That Media Is Biased Against Conservatives
Number of pages: 6 | Number of words: 1451.... the
sixth grader who received death threats does not even clearly state what kind of
hate was involved. It could have been sexual harassment, or it could have been
because she carried Spam around on her forehead. She only names two cases as her
examples. So in her magical "evil people bash feminism land" her argument is
just as common as what she is complaining about, or maybe less common. No one is
trying to bash feminism. This was not planned out to happen. (I hope)
Also, kids in elementary school always are not thinking about getting
their secretaries to have sex .....

Presidential Candidates: Division And Classification
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 652.... to the future if we can figure out how to get
along and how to lift each other up." His bits of intellect might be useful if
he proposed solutions to the obvious problems he presents. Bob Dole, a
republican candidate, has already done some work on welfare reform. He recently
passed a bill which allows the state to create programs that will move people
from welfare to work. His reform plan will effectively lower welfare recipients
by requiring able-bodied people to work, single-teen parents to stay in school,
and limiting welfare to five years. Dole knows what he wants to acco .....

Talk Shows
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 766.... you want your young children to view a program showcasing the sexual adventures of a 14-year-old girl who married her 71-year-old foster father"(Flint and Wharton). To those who do not tune into these shows this discription may sound like an exaggeration; however, it is not. This is exactly the type of topics on some shows. Not only are half the shows ridiculous with topics of deceit, revenge and "extreme behavior", but some of them are false(Flint and Wharton). On the Jerry Springer Show a Canadian comedy troupe went on the show and created a story. The story was that one of .....
