A Case Study In Diversity India And Romania
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 1077.... country, be it India or Romania. Visually, each site is very different. Virtual Romania is very flashy, with lots of photos, java and shiny banners, and it is set up in a four frame format - very pushy. In contrast, SAWNET is much better organized, with lost of eye-easy ‘white-space’ and culturally representative yet simple graphics. I have yet to decide if this is indicative of a cultural influence, or simply gender-biased. Both sites are several years old - in fact, Virtual Romania boasts that it is "The FIRST Ever Romanian Home Page on the Internet", and was .....

Is It Possible To Lose Your Sa
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 519.... away from God (i.e. Peter’s denial three times of Christ at his trial), but the actual message of these words is directed to the unsaved.
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life". There is no question that belief in Christ gives eternal life. The question that arises is: Can someone who truly believes, ever willingly stop believing. Can someone willfully deny and turn away from, Christ. The Bible says even the demons knew Christ was Messiah. But they, of co .....

An Analysis Of Violence In Public Schools
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 698.... behaviour will be less prevelant. I can see how one might think this way; 1. chilren appear to behave more violently than their parents did as children. 2. Today's television has more violent shows, both in abundance and degree. There appears to be a simple causation there. It may be just a corelation. American television networks operate on the supply and demand curve just like any other industry. There has to exist a demand for violent programming first. The demand for violent programming leads to the broadcasting of such programs, but do violent shows lead to violent behavi .....

What Is Piety
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 927.... Socrates wants Euthyphro to teach him the
meaning of piety since Euthyphro considers himself an authority on the subject.
In this dialogue Euthyphro gives Socrates four different definitions of what he
believes piety is, none of which prove satisfactory to Socrates, leaving the
question unanswered in the end.
The first definition that Euthyphro provides to Socrates is that "the
pious is to do what I am doing now to prosecute the wrong doer" (Plato,
Euthyphro, Grube trans., p. 9). This is merely an example of piety, and Socrates
is seeking a definition, not one or two pious a .....
