Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 358.... to work more than 35 hours per week. As of the 1st of January, that work week will be further reduced.
Companies are fined if employees work more than 35 hours. This is causing a problem because the companies’ production is lower and so is the quality of the products. "The Beats Generation
Number of pages: 5 | Number of words: 1319.... through Burroughs on to Allen Ginsberg and a friend named Jack Kerouac. Ginsberg, hearing Huncke use the word in the original street slang usage, felt that the word meant “exhausted, at the bottom the world, looking up or out, sleepless, wide-eyes, perceptive, rejected b society, on your own, streetwise.”
Kerouac was completely captivated by the mood and tone of the word ‘beat.’ He insisted that the word possessed a deeper quality and meant something spiritual and mysterious. That kind of beatness is what Kerouac was describing in himself and his friends. They were bright youn .....

The Ultimate Pet: A Pet Rock
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 557.... one I should pick, but then on
the side of the muddy bank, partly submerged in the water, lay a shinny, sandy,
orange stone. It called out for me to pick it to take home instead of the
others, like a puppy does from a pet store window. When I held the rock in my

Now as for a name. That was easy. How does one name his cat or dog,

Some people may be thinking, "A rock....what kind of a companion can a
rock be?" .....

Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 1042.... classes which are taught in
English (Sjoerdsma 504K2721). This is, of course, how bilingual education
should work in theory. This is not, however, the case.
Critics of bilingual education say that "the objectives of the
classes are confused, the quality of instruction is poor," and the
"transition" time, when students transition into regular classes, is murky
(Schrag 14). Critics believe that the goals of bilingual education have
been forgotten and replaced with the need to "preserve native culture and
traditions" (Rothstein 627). In fact, the major defense from advocates .....

Forged by the sweat and blood of our forefathers and having endured eras of irreconcilable differences as well as anti-authoritarianism, these two values still remain vibrant in American culture.
The Declaration of Independence clearly puts forth this notion, stating that "[w]hen in the course of human events .....

The Five Factor Model Of Personality
Number of pages: 9 | Number of words: 2205.... on several assumptions. The first assumption is
that any difference between people that is seen as significant will have a name.
Secondly, these names, known as traits, are conceived of as continuous
dimensions. In general, trait theories assume that people vary simultaneously on
a number of personality factors. These traits are of both the conjunctive and
disjunctive form. Therefore, to understand a trait, it is necessary to
understand what a particular trait is and what type of behaviour is evidence of
that trait. (Atkinson et al., 1993). Five factor theorists are one set o .....

The other two officially recognized opposition parties, the Party for Democratic Renewal (PRD) and the National Democratic Party (PND), do not hold parliamentary seats, in large part because the PND boycotted the 1992 legislative elections.
