Saturn
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 954.... models of the interior indicate that below the relatively thin
opaque cloud layer is an extensive, clear hydrogen-helium atmosphere. Data
on the internal heat flux, the detailed gravity field, and the observed
upper-atmosphere hydrogen-helium ratio satisfy a model of the interior
where the ratio of hydrogen to helium decreases with depth. The gas
density gradually increases downward and the gas transforms into a liquid.
Further down the pressures increase to a critical level, and there the
hydrogen becomes metallic. A small core of silicate material probably .....

Helium
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 521.... at
normal pressure by rapid removal of the vapor above the liquid. At a
temperature slightly above absolute zero, it is transformed into helium II,
also called super fluid helium, a liquid with unique physical properties.
It has no freezing point, and its viscosity is zero; it passes readily
through minute cracks and pores and will even creep up the sides and over
the lip of a container. Helium-3, the lighter helium isotope of mass 3,
which has an even lower boiling point than ordinary helium, exhibits
markedly different properties when liquefied.
Because it is nonc .....

Acupuncture
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 946.... experienced the treatment claim that "is less painful than getting a shot or having blood drawn because the needles are so thin" (Weiss 73).
The question remaining involves the legitimacy of treatments. It has a long history of success in Asia dating back over 5,000 years (Duke 224). The method approaches problems as "patterns of disharmony" which are responsible for poor health in individuals (Consumer 55). Oriental acupuncturists believe that either yin or yang,
whose balance affects everything in the universe, influences each of the body's organs. They also believe .....

H.i.v. About Aids
Number of pages: 8 | Number of words: 2048.... and how HIV infects the body.
Definition
HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. HIV is classified as a RNA Retrovirus.
A retrovirus uses RNA templates to produce DNA. For example, within the
core of HIV is a double molecule of ribonucleic acid, RNA. When the virus
invades a cell, this genetic material is replicated in the form of DNA .
But, in order to do so, HIV must first be able to produce a particular
enzyme that can construct a DNA molecule using an RNA template. This enzyme,
called RNA-directed DNA polymerase, is also referred to as reverse .....

Linux Vs Nt
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 1051.... often go hand in hand. According to Sunworld, the estimated minimal required hardware costs that would go with a Linux machine is $200. In an NT machine, the minimal hardware cost rose up to $1300. This is because NT requires at least a 486 Pentium with 16MB of RAM. Linux can run fine on a 386 computer with only 8MB of RAM.
What do the majority of users need a computer for? Mainly word processing and the use of a database program. An NT user doesn’t have to go with Microsoft Office, but a lot of people do, costing a couple hundred dollars. Linux can run an Off .....

Preserve The Forests
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 529.... will all be
gone in ten years, so we should do mankind a favor and try to preserve what is
left. If the old growth forests are gone, then they can never return because it
takes over five generations to produce one and at the rate that the human
population is increasing, there is not enough land to have a secure place for a
new forest.
If we realize that it is best for the human race to stop destroying the
natural resources, then we must destroy, too, the existence of loggers all
together. To do so, there must not be any new loggers, so all training
potential loggers mus .....

Goundwater
Number of pages: 8 | Number of words: 2024.... It is also difficult to tell where exactly the source of recharge for your well is. Thus if an area near your well becomes polluted, the pollution may seep into the groundwater feeding your well.
The purpose of this project is to explore the subject of groundwater, its place in the water cycle, how it seeps through the ground and how it accumulates in underground pockets called aquifers. The project will also examine the many uses of groundwater in agriculture as well as environmental problems that are presently threatening the quantity and quality of groundwater reserves. .....

Oil Spills And Pollution
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 478.... employed the assistance of 12,000 people and 1,385 ships and planes. They recovered a little over 2.6 million gallons of oil from Prince William Sound over the cleanup period. The estimated number of dead birds was 33,126 along with 138 eagles and 980 otters.
Usually, when we are thinking of oil pollution what comes to mind is maybe a disastrous oil tanker spill somewhere in an ocean that ends up killing thousand upon thousands of wildlife living in that region.
One example of this is the Exxon Valdez which spilled oil from its tanker into Alaskan waters and dumped 1.5 millio .....
