Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 687.... lottery, but they never question it and believe that it is the only way to do things. Any other town that decides it is wrong and stops doing it is considered to be run by stupid youngsters who don’t understand the importance of tradition. The people in this village are so scared of change that they will keep allowing a human sacrifice every year for the benefit of the community. No one believes it is wrong or should be changed, and they all hope they don’t draw the wrong card and get chosen.
If you break down the community as a whole and look to see who has conformed the m .....

Friendship
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 770.... stability of my country through peaceful means I would not intervene in the least bit. Even if I don’t believe in his intents. I believe every man has the right to "harm" his country peacefully. That is what democracy is based on a country for the people and by the people. These people have the right to try and change things in a peaceful manner. That is how far I would go to stop a friend from harming my country.
How far would I go to obtain revenge on someone or some group who destroyed my best friend? Once again, it depends on your definition of destroyed. If you a .....

In many ways we .....

male and female roles, because of the many different tasks they have to carry
out from day to day. For example, in order for women to enter the “male” world
of work, they have to obtain “masculine” traits and leave their “feminine”
traits at home.
Bearing children is expected in today's society, because nurturi .....

Is Television Good Or Bad?
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 382.... teaching. The drama serials on television are neither entertaining or educational. These shows simply depict "real life" (in the broadest sense of the term) and therefore do not teach or entertain (otherwise life itself would be entertaining!)
I think that these programs should not be shown. Comedy programs, however, make viewers laugh, feel better, and make people generally happier. These programs should be encouraged, instead of the ‘real life’ dramas. Sports programs and broadcasts of sporting matches are very good. With them, fans of the sports can watch only parts .....

The Rise Of Violent Crime In Canada
Number of pages: 11 | Number of words: 2891.... crime is in actuality. All to often, people in Canadian society refer to
general wrongdoing as being a crime. A simple example of this is when grocery
stores all raise their prices for certain food products. People then refer very
casually to this act as a crime or that these prices are criminal. Individuals
in our Society often have a fear of being victimized by others, such as the
government, friends and or strangers. This fear is often equated with crime
since all crimes have a winner and a loser or victim as would be the legal term.
This equation often makes involv .....
