Negative Effects On Soldiers From War
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 450.... and physically; therefore their behavior will
not be the same and that affects family life significantly.
Another aftermath of war is the suffering children. Many of them
experience the painful loss of family members such as their parents, grand
parents, and brothers, which sometimes leaves them alone in a harsh world.
In addition, the physical health of the children is affected because of
injuries, lack of food and medical care. All of this leads to emotional
problems that can conflict with the children’s development and future well
being.
Finally, war can leave l .....

Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 451.... didn't have jobs to go to every
day, or cars to take them wherever they needed to go, and not every family in
the world had breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. He told me that I was
very lucky to have all the things that I had, and that millions of kids in the
world would die to have the life I had. I was still very confused about the
whole situation. Why wasn't every family like ours? What did those people do
wrong? My dad just said that was life . . . some people are lucky, and some
people aren't.
At first, I thought that all poor people were the same, but I late .....

Living In A Residence Hall
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 414.... are all directly on campus and the campus is compact enough that everything you need is within a short walk. I plan to be involved in many university functions and to spend a lot of time at the student recreation center, and I find the closeness of everything on the campus one of EIU's most outstanding features.
Another attractive feature of the residence halls is the overall atmosphere in them and the friendliness of the people at EIU. I have visited some of the halls and they all seemed like very comfortable and relaxed places to live, like a second home. When I was th .....

Types Of Bosses
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 627.... doesn’t realize if he was more helpful the store might look better than it does.
Many times the most liked boss is the most helpful boss. When a boss gives demands or requests that need to be met then he helps the employees, it usually makes them more productive. For example, another of my bosses, Marty, understands when there are so many things that need to be done and not enough people to do them. If only one person is scheduled for a shift and there is too much work for that person, Marty helps out wherever he is needed. Working together may sometimes make you feel .....

Affirmative Action In Seattle
Number of pages: 4 | Number of words: 1046.... managers and personnel officers a snapshot of
the labor market, so that they are aware of the availability rates for

rates, the City can determine whether or not women, people of color, or
persons with disabilities are underrepresented in a given job
classification within the work force; second, the City's affirmative action
program encourages managers and personnel officers to make special outreach
efforts into groups and communities that are underrepresented in our work
force, in order to increase .....

Curfews
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 749.... to go home, but what ends up happening is they just go somewhere else to hang out. Teenagers these days will just rebel. We teenagers have a point, why should we go home if a police officer tells us to, if our parents let us go out and we are not doing anything wrong.
Another thing that gets to me is why the curfew law applies to teenagers sixteen and seventeen years of age. An average teenager gets his or her licenses at age sixteen. Usually by the time you are sixteen you are mature and responsible enough to drive and stay out with friends or even family. Drivers go .....

Poverty
Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 805.... one must beware
that they might be entering into a crisis.
In the Chinese culture, if one would break up the word crisis, they
would find that the word means opportunity and danger-threat. One might
gather that the word crisis is bad, but it could also relate to a good
situation. What the word crisis is trying to say is that it is a dangerous
situation where there is opportunity at the same time. People who are in a
crisis must evaluate their situational priorities and the available
opportunities.
Karl Marx might argue "capitalism would inevitably cause .....
