Betty lays in bed to scared to get up because she and her Abby and Tituba committed a sin by dancing in the woods. Parris, Abby's uncle and Reverend Hale question Abigail about what they did to make Betty act this way. Parris says, “I saw a kettle in the grass where you girls were dancing. I believe I saw some movement in the soup .....

.... Prospero, a powerful sorcerer and scheme how to defeat and kill him. Who in their sober mind take on an all powerful sorcerer? This is quite amusing because it shows us how incredibly foolish we act when we are drunk. Of course their attempt to take on Prospero proves to be futile, instead they play dress up with his cloaks and when Prospero shows up, Stephano and Trinculo run for their lives and leave Calaban behind carrying the clothes they attempted to steal. Trinculo and Stephano were also quite amusing by being drunk throughout the entire story, they even stated .....

Bassanio and Portia, Jessica and Lorenzo and Gratiano and Nerissa are all types of love that involve a man and a woman, which are of course relevant to today's society. When one looks deeply into these relationships, they would see parallels to the ones of today. For instance, the concept that all three marriages will probably not last, is a parallel to the number of divorces that are occurring today. More and more divorces are happening and the increase from other years is shocking! One of the main reasons why this is happening .....

This makes men scared of blindness to truths which prevents them from knowing when fortune or something else would happen on them. Lear, the king of England would be the tragic hero because he held the highest position in the social chain at the very beginning of the play. His social position gave him pride as he remarked himself as "Jupiter" and "Apollo". Lear out of pride and anger has banished Cordelia and Kent and divided his Kingdom in halves to Goneril and Regan. Because Mrs. Alving concedes to her minister's ethical bombardment about her responsibilities in marriage, she is forced to conceal the truth about her late husband's behavior ( ). Like "A Doll's House", "Ghosts" can be misinterpreted as simply an attack on the religious values of Ibsen's society. While this is certainly an important aspect of the play, it is not, however, Ibsen's main point. "A Doll's House" set a precedent for "Ghosts" and the plays .....
