Number of pages: 3 | Number of words: 613.... of the trigger, so that the trigger can not be pull to release a round of ammo. There are people that say they are just trying to keep there family safe from harm. Is there anyone that doesn’t want to be able to keep there family safe from any harm that might be their way. I want the same thing, but I also want to keep the children from harming them selves or others in anyway thinkable. I feel the same about that ,but if I was a parent or had a gun in a home with small children I would want to keep them safe any way possible. Wouldn’t you want that too? You have to keep the .....

Socialism
Number of pages: 17 | Number of words: 4433.... the Industrial Revolution in England--the word socialist first occurred in
an English journal in 1827. These two great historical events, establishing
democratic government in France and the conditions for vast future economic
expansion in England, also engendered a state of incipient conflict between the
property owners (the bourgeoisie) and the growing class of industrial workers;
socialists have since been striving to eliminate or at least mitigate this
conflict. The first socialist movement emerged in France after the Revolution
and was led by Francois BABEUF, Filippo Buo .....

Leaders Of The Progressive Movement
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 436.... in society to form Hull House, a settlement house for the social and economic betterment of the poor. She wrote many books about worthy causes such as peace, and endured harsh criticism of her work. Perhaps the most radical of the three, Emma Goldman, took her work for women's rights one step further. Although she was skeptical about suffrage, Goldman worked for contraceptive information to be given to the "New Woman". She fought prejudiced Victorian attitudes, as all of these women did, with true progressive spirit for their causes that previously had been widely ignored. .....

Equality
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 396.... is wrong. So if
you tell someone that they are believing the wrong thing, they could same to you.
No religion is wrong.
Reverse discrimination is also wrong. It isn't a person's fault that people
of their race and sex usually get a brake. Reverse discrimination is still
discrimination, and all discrimination is wrong. All discrimination is the same.
No one should discriminate against another ever. Especially if I it is to bring
them self up.
I hope that all people will learn to go about things in a peaceful way.
So many people have died in the past because someone was .....

The Treatment Of A Women In Sports
Number of pages: 10 | Number of words: 2479.... precedence of women in sports was changed not only for the 90’s but forever. Only with the help of Title IX legislation and the persistence of women athletes to demand equality was such an accomplishment to be achieved. Although, women are making strives towards equality, and making progress in acknowledging females for their athletic ability, there are still many signs of sexism and poor treatment because of their endeavors.
Even today with the press towards a new “equalitarian attitude” women athletes still encounter the old school view of the norm and the politics of a .....

Social Security
Number of pages: 2 | Number of words: 419.... taxes are paid should be higher. They say that the current earnings limit of $72,600 in 1999 allows wealthier Americans to avoid paying taxes on some of their income. Critics say that is supposed to be a foundation for retirement planning. If wealthier people contributed more than they now do in taxes, they would either have to receive more-and in some cases much more-than they now do in benefit payments, or they would not receive any additional benefits for their added contributions into the system.
On the investment side, some people support the creation of individual sav .....

Equity In Canada
Number of pages: 5 | Number of words: 1143.... could have resulted in death.
The issue of racism is certainly not new to the Halifax area. In
the 1960’s blacks were ordered out of their village, and in 1980’s Sikh
immigrants were called ‘trash’ and told to ‘go home.’ I found the author’
s choice of words quite appropriate when she described the ‘people of the
east’ in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Words such as Bluenoser, Gaelic and
homogeneity were used to describe the vast majority of people who look and
sound the same in the community.
Throughout the article the author expressed her disgust at this
racist incide .....

Cheating
Number of pages: 1 | Number of words: 180.... that you don't know everything.
When you cheat in school, you are just getting by, you aren't
actually learning. Later in life, this can really hurt you. When you grow
up and have a job, there will be no one to copy. None of the good
employers will want you if you can't do good work -- and that means
undesirable, dead-end, jobs like flipping burgers.
Cheating is also dishonest and dishonorable to yourself and other
people. It will cause you to lose your self respect and the respect of
others. Cheaters never really win, they only fool themselves.
For these reasons, I be .....
